saw him perform at a small festival last summer in pouring rain. his voice was in top form, and he capped off the show with a Neil young cover duet with Alan, his partner/keyboardist. They sat playing the piano together, it was a beauty

Personally I think No Shape is the way to go if you like more immediately enjoyable/ accessible stuff

This isn't a huge step down though, so if this did nothing for you at all then I don't necessarily think No Shape will change that. It's a bit more epic/bombastic though, which is to my liking.
