It's resplendent.

Only checked the singles honestly. I will happily indulge in the rest of the album but it's hard to imagine it would sway me.

Just finished my first listen. Holy shit, this rules so hard. Stylistically I’d say this has more in common with The Spark, but it really does feel like it’s own thing. God I love this band so much.

Rules, it probably is their definitive record.

Does anything come remotely close to the brilliance of Ode To Lost Jigsaw Pieces?

i think im like 20 listens deep and this keeps getting better and better. think marionettes is my favorite but at one point or another ive thought the same about satellites, pressure's on and modern living were my favorite so it keeps changing lol. think it speaks for how much amazing shit is on here

only thing im not entirely sold on is elegy's placement in the album. cool track but it feels kinda out of place in between tina and marionettes. hopefully ill warm up to it more though as i continue to loop the shit out of this

Every time I listen to a new Enter Shikari album, I think to myself, "anything can happen in the next half hour. "

This is truly their greatest accomplishment. They've perfected everything and brought it back with surprises like Reprise 3 etc. I hadn't looked at the tracklist before hearing the album and when I heard that shit I got so excited. One of the easiest 5s.

Probably their best record yet, combining a lot of elements from all their previous records, mashing them together, resulting in one of the most diverse, moving and interesting albums I've heard since a very long time. 0.5 points deducted from the slightly-lacking-in-high-end kind of mix. Sometimes it's hard to hear the drum cymbals and it fucks with the groove a bit.

I mean not on the album. Cymbals suck in general. Not an opinion.

didn't think their exclusion of harsh/scream vocals would work so well in their favour
