It's a very good album, the worst off the band but it's Muse so it's soo greatt!
They wanted to have differant kind of song and they did. But because of this
the album don't have a ''soul''.It don't have continuation like

This is the first muse album I've bought and I like it. I really wanted to buy absolution first , but record stores here dont have 'em.
Jujull, you say it's their worst? Then the others must be amazing.

I love the vocals, one of the few modern/alt. bands that can actually sing. This Message Edited On 10.26.06

I find this seemed to drag on after awhile. I was expecting louder and faster. It was till pretty great.

I can't dig Supermassive Black Holes.
Infact I think it is could well be the worst single of the year.
And on the flipside, Knights of Cydonia is probably one of the best rock singles of the year.

The only thing I really dig from here is "Starlight". And it would be so much better without those big stupid dramatic sweeps.

Add "Map Of The Problematique" and we both have the same thoughts.

Starlight has some nice moments but is pretty damn boring overall.
Map Of The Problematique is decent.

Took me a while to get used to, but I like most of the songs on this.
Knights of Cydonia=Awesome!

This album is really cool musically, It just sounds corny too me. I like listening to them though.
And Lyrically i think it's pretty bad just, his lyrics seem corny, and overdramatic and dumb
but his singing is amazing and their instrument playing is cool.

Superb album! My least favourite song is Hoodoo, and that's awesome!
Muse rock!

yeah. feaking awesome vocals. not the greatest voice in the world but they make up for it by sounding really unique.

Its a good album, I am a huge Muse fan all the way from Showbiz. They are great musicians and have really proved themselves over the years, even with this cd. Tracks 5-8 do lack some luster and seem kind of rounded off or fillers. I felt like the album overall lacked some of the experiment ridgidness felt in earlier albums. It hasn't grown on me like the others have because it lacks something. I think that something is, they have always moved outside the box with each album and this album was unsuccesful in that attempt. There are many melodies on this album that left me felling like i had heard them before. Overall: Good album, easy listen, not mind blowing.

I like this album but it's a little too poppy/uninteresting to compare with their other stuff IMO. And I actually really like some of the songs hardly anyone does (Hoodoo, Soldier's Poem), KoC and City of Delusion being my favorites.
On another note, I'm deciding between Absolution and Origin of Symmetry as to which one to get since I only have the green for one. Can anyone tell me which one is more diverse?
EDIT: I rate this a 3.7/5.This Message Edited On 07.20.07
