Indeed, but it's far from being the only song worthy of your Spotify playlist ;)

In my humble opinion Quadra is better than the new Exhorder (which I know you liked), but to each is own, obviously.

Gotcha, yeah I really loved the new Exhorder. There were a few songs on there (title track and Yesterday's Bones jump to mind) that I had on heavy rotation for a bit. Def going to give this another spin, Trap. m/

The Guardians of Earth intro is pretty addictive.

Five tracks in, this is pretty neat. It's also a good concept, they tend to
Eloy is not human though. Sounds like watching drum vids at 1.5 speed.
Sidenote: That 3.1 avg for Dante is still a crime against humanity.

I gotta be honest with you, the only Derrick Green-era album that caught my attention was Machine Messiah. One of these days I'm gonna revisit, maybe I'll change my mind.

Ready when you are DePlazz.
Read the rev. Its pretty damn brilliant, only hoped you mentioned Pentagram, cause its one hell of an instrumental track. Also Raging Void, although seems standart as you said, those drums have some arythmic flow making it damn interesting and Voivod(esque) at times.
This grew a lot on me on 2nd spin. It delivers awesome riffs and variation. 3rd part is my fave from this quadra for now, although it starts pretty thrash strong. I dig the concept too. I have to agree with your decimal rating (3.8). Guardians of Earth acoustic is so m/!

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. Yeah, The Pentagram is indeed a killer. I could have mentioned the song, but you know, when I start writing it's all very fluid, focusing on what I think is most essential at the moment. If I did the review today, it would be different.
I'm glad the album is growing on you, it's a great jam and proof that the band is still alive.

Yeah I mean...who's the chick from Fear, Pain etc?...This approach is def interesting, although I wouldn't mind a thrash ending.

Perhaps I should give some of the other Derrick Green stuff a shot. Gonna try Kairos next. Let's see if I can survive this bitch.

Francesco Ferrini, from Fleshgod Apocalypse, is also a guest, he's responsible for Last Time and Fear, Pain, Chaos, Suffering orchestrations.
I was thinking the same thing Pika.

You guys made me check, but yep, this shit is so incredibly boring I had to turn it off again.

Actually managed to sit through Kairos and Mediator. The former had several songs that were quite good by Sepultura standards. Only a Fix is fucking atrocious though. As for the latter, the first four songs are the only thing I found remotely enjoyable. Also, the bonus track is better than like 80% of the album.

I am currently addicted to The Pentagram, and Guardians of Earth, this record made me return to Machine Messiah and adores him even more (even though I think this one is far superior).
