You definitely should dude. Album could be a bit of a grower for you perhaps? Evilford's right, the first half is enjoyable, 'Bottom' is epic. Up until the title track (for me anyway), it gets a bit bogged down. This was the first Tool album i ever bought though, and that was about 16 years ago, so listening to it's probably more nostalgic for some like myself

I want this album. Maybe I'll get Aenima or 10,000 days first.

Ænima, of course. Second best!

The best** you mean

I prefer Lateralus, but both rule exceptionally hard

Aenima is probably still one of my favorite albums ever. Lateralus rules too. just seems like Aenima had more passion and anger. it moves me.
|
| |
I understand why, so no hard feelings there. It's definitely more rocking! Lateralus is more spacey/proggy and cohessive

I'll just buy AEnima for myself. I'm getting 10,000 days for Christmas (free presents :D)

Hmm. This is true. I 5'd Aenima nonetheless, because it just doesn't let-up on me like parts of Lateralus does. It's got a razor edge that Lateralus lacks. Though Patient has to be in my top 5 Tool songs

I came close to 5ing Lateralus too. it's awesome, and it is more cohesive for sure. just prefer Aenima myself, but I can also see why people love Lateralus so hard. The Grudge is such an awesome song. lots of them are

Awesome band, yeah

Schism has been a favorite of mine for a while. Though I can say The Grudge, The Patient, and Lateralus were also very good.

I'm probably one of the few, but Stinkfist is one of my favorites

The Grudge has to the best opening on any of their albums. That song always paints this image of an apocalypse in my mind for some reason, I don't know why. Sounds primal and chaotic
