I 4 the worst DsO mind...I don t even think its a safe step to aim for a more standart songwriting in here, it is to praise, yet I think it lost some of DsO's genesis/essence for that matter. Sometimes it almost hits me as late behemothesque take from DsO.

The band itself consider this their more "earthy" approach...that s perceivable both in lyrics and music.

This still feels very DsO to me. The band's sound has a multitude of facets. Infinite facets, even. 1523 is heavenly in all of its muddy melodicism. This one still riffs like all of their music riffs. Not a bad or even mediocre song in the bunch.

This is far from mediocre in all aspects and I never said that it does not sound like DsO. I think its very solid, but wouldn t dare to compare to operatic evilness Fas Ite or chaos into beauty(?) Paracletus. In here they want me to march to their mid tempo bm, I gladly do it, although I did no military service.I do it with a bouncing helmet and untied shoelaces.
