fair enough! I think, as they are fundamentally the same songs, they stand on their own well enough, but yeah the better versions are definitely on All Mirrors :-]

Haven’t heard any of the singles but I understand they are in a more straight Americana/country direction so I am predictably excited (although I find her earlier country-ish stuff generally weaker than All Mirrors/My Woman).

Newest song sounds like it could've been on All Mirrors, but in general it's been a return to more country-ish stuff. I think between All Mirrors, Whole New Mess, and Aisles, reinterpreting and morphing songs have really found her honing her songwriting craft so it's really cool for her to do things more in her older style but with all of the maturity and ambition that she's gained over the years.
