I have no problem with the music on "The First Time" but I found the lyrics to be the lamest on the album which made it harder to take the track seriously. I'm a lyrics guy, so that can be enough to ruin a track for me :/

@Atari as a lyrics guy too I tend to give blink a bit of slack in that department, especially now as for every great lyric Mark or Matt have written they tend to... write some pretty bad ones too. having said that I don't really have a problem with The First Time's lyrics at all, I think Matt's verse is absolutely classic and comparatively it's better written than, say, Darkside (really bad verses but Matt whips ass in that chorus) or Hated You (kind of just bad)

haha atari I was waiting for it :D
japan bonus track Out of My Head is out there - pretty good bop but definitely a leftover from the scrapped album that sounded too much like California. this is actually the cooler of two things that released today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w2JSGb4ASE

I think I learnt to dismiss blink lyrics a loooong time ago. I'm sure that means I've missed a bunch that have hit, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Excepting 'Fuck a Dog', of course.

It really is. Didn’t stick out on first listen, but now it’s probably my favorite here.
