Pretty much what Chan said. I'm arguably the biggest Metallica fanboy ever, but this album's pretty bad.

To me there's only 3 things wrong with St. Anger
1. Obviously the biggest one, no solos
2. No harmonized guitar parts
3. some songs are to long
other than those this album is aggressive and heavy...sounds like Metallica to me
pretty funny when kirk took the stand though, "you are being accused of sitting on you ass"...for sure

That kind of wasn't really funny at all.
...and I don't know why that guy was telling Lars ro make sure the album wasn't so shitty. It's pretty well known that Hetfield does the vast majority of the songwriting.

i agree with mm8 there (although i did giggle a wee bit)... it's true what the guy said though, they should tune their guitars normally and take a lesson from their first 4 albums which were all perfectly decent
