tbh hating on grohl is low hanging fruit; guy's done more than most to preserve rock's popular traction, he's played on a small handful of great records, and he's by and large avoided pandering to unfortunate trends or turning into an arsehole. if the worst he's got to show for that is a barnful of derivative yesterdaybangers, i think that's something we can get over ourselves on
