This album is a fucking masterpiece. Best thing Homme's ever done (with Songs for the Deaf and Them Crooked Vultures self-titled LP being tied as 2nd/3rd place). Still rocking this in late 2020. I was lucky enough to see them play this album in it's entirety at an album launch concert at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, they were in RARE form. I've been lucky to see QOTSA live a few times, but they were on fire that night, especially. I especially recall "My God is the Sun" and "The Vampyre of Time and Memory" sounded SO amazing, I hadn't gained a full appreciation for the album (it was still new at the time) until after that show.
Actually reminds me, this girl stole the awesome Queens hoodie I bought at that show. I wish I could get that back...fuck.

This is more consistent but I think Songs has more highlights. I don't skip anything here but I have 3 that I don't care for on SftD. I view them pretty close but this edges it out a bit, methinks
And yeah, agreed on Another Love Song kinda suckin. Never was fond of it
