Well at least he says that in interviews. Guess he has to defend themselves somehow.

this actually has some great riffs scattered here and there. too bad the rest of it is uninspired as fuck with shitty radio rock choruses. and its way too long, ugh what a chore to sit through. at least it wasnt as abysmal as the last two.

"Yes, at least Anders thinks their old stuff is immature. As if they grew up, became wise and understood exactly how to market themselves and be the best possible band they can be.

or some stupid shit like that"

Lol the lyrics on this album sound like they were written by an angsty teenager. Their older material had way more mature lyrical concepts. Dystopian future, technology destroying humanity, religion, history

I know this is late but

@Nocte, from a couple pages back: Me "ignoring" the criticisms wasn't intentional. I was tired and wanted to not have to worry about it until the morning came, not to mention multiple people were making comments as to what I'd need to change. This isn't a justification, but I think the gist of it is I was too tired and overwhelmed to respond to everyone.

As for proofreading, yeah I'm still kind of at a loss right now. I spent hours before posting trying to fix it up, and then I had to spend time post-release of the review fixing a few issues, it looks just fine to me.

Sure, if only for objectivity's sake. You may find a few moments you'll like even.

no, you shouldnt, but if youre like me and IF used to be one of your favorite bands and youve even been following their newest stuff out of morbid curiosity, youre probably going to listen anyways.

Nah, it's a step up from both that and Siren Charms. Though it's marginal considering the few downturns it has.

Nah it definitely is better than Siren Charms, there's really only two songs I'd mention in a negative light, and one of them is obvious.

butt.

It's at least the best since Sounds, even if it slots comfortably below it in quality.
