I don’t understand how this doesn’t have emotional depth just because it’s not as long as the others idk.

every time I hear his flute, I think of a satyr frolicking out of the woods coming to fuck me in my ass with his massive cock.

Just doesn’t hit as hard as before, but that’s just my opinion. Really hope it grows on me a bit more. It’s Saor so it’s still great either way, ya feel?

I got that feel too, but the only reason is because he's expanded the strings and shit like that soo much that I don't feel like it does a disservice.

When the piano first appeared in the t/t at around 5.30 I thought I would be Welcomed to the Black Parade with those first two notes. Luckily I wasn't.

Nice album, don't know how I feel about the flutes/strings/piano/etc. yet, but the rest is superb!

Guardians settled that one for me, though The Ocean (Collective), WITTR, The Great Old Ones, NeOb, Enisum, Kalmah, and Moonsorrow all have strong cases lately.

Portishead, Ulver or Meshuggah for me. Or Opeth if they redeem themselves with their next one.

Enisum over this.
I guess it's The Alps vs. The Scottish Highlands. And those Alps are just more epic.
