Not listened to this album (was a fan of them in my mid teens, and The Poison is good for a nostalgia fix, but asides from that, this band doesn't hold my interest), but their vocalist said they changed their sound as 'Metal's gone stale, and they wanted to do something different'. https://www.loudersound.com/features/an-open-letter-to-matt-tuck-metals-not-stale-youve-just-stopped-listening
