Some people are just ignorantly biased on this site. Gotta roast the haters ya know?

This album is their best yet. Every riff stands out in a bad ass fashion on almost every song. Yes some riffs are generic but it's the heavy tones that stick out greatly.

Leave it to Breaking Benjamin fans to use a term as vacuous as "hater" in order to describe people who rightfully find a Breaking Benjamin album boring.

at least this one actually has a couple earwormy melodies on it. Automatically makes it a bit better than DBD.

still just a weak imitation of their first few albums though. Can't even tell there are 3 guitarists on this either. Complete waste of musicians.

not sure why I got my expectations up when I saw some interview clip where the band was like "it's cool, this is the trickiest stuff to play yet." I forgot Ben didn't want his bandmates playing past the ability of 13-year-olds from his local School of Rock

There are some decent basslines and drum fills here. IDK I'd personally be impressed with 13 year olds playing this stuff, but I'd still tell em they need to sack their predictible songwriter.

Indeed, this is a waste of potential if anything.

The riffs under the chorus of Never Again could be my biggest earworm of the discography

Ben started reusing lyrics with DBD, taking a bunch of themes from Dear Agony and beating them with a stick. From what I understand, Ben's disease leaves him in pain pretty much all the time, and he stopped drinking before Dear Agony, so part of me thinks he can only focus on the pain when he writes the lyrics. Hence the same themes being repeated for the past 3 albums.

Gone are the days of Wish I May :'(

favorite moment on this thing probably comes from the chorus of "tourniquet", and likely my favorite track.
