No, Ms Bray doesn't possess exceptional vocal talent, but she sounds wonderful in context. The individual songs vary in quality, but I find the overall package quite moving. That Lysithea (the bassists project) album is pretty good too.

She has a bard quality to her singing -- it sounds lyrical and fresh, as if she's singing us a story by a campfire instead of a studio with infinite takes. One of the things that gives this album great personality.

Wow. I think it's best thing they've done. I was worried this band might stagnant but if this is any indication, this album will be their magnum opus. Gorgeous, complex, and emotionally stirring.
