pretty ear-grating so far, and I usually love weird music with liberal string usage

This particular album would be improved without Bjork's singing yes.

'Vespertine' is the album where her voice sounds most conventionally 'pleasant'...and imo also her best album. Mostly for that very reason.

If you're hoping to actually enjoy something from her I recommend Vespertine or Post haha, those are the only albums I've really fallen for so far (mostly Vespertine)

Songs wise maybe try out "Human Behavior" or "Bachelorette." If you don't like those it's safe to say Bjork just isn't for you

Early Bjork, always start early. 1st 4 are a lot more palatable & ‘conventional’... for her anyway. Still creative but restraint is shown more willingly. Although if you don’t like her voice you might be screwed.

sowing head over to vespertine immediately. vulnicura is bad and this is more of an acquired taste

yeah I actually like vulnicura better than this, and I didn't like that album

will certainly try vespertine at some point but if that's no good then it's strike three

definitely wouldn't pursue any further if u don't like vespertine, it's one of her bests and most accessible

Yeah just call it a day of you're not a fan of Vespertine, I personally love her voice but still find it hard to get into her music sometimes

her voice can be damn grating tbh. i hate how she enunciates certain words - especially in 'the gate' when she sings 'CARE FOR YOU'. it's like she's trying to be as annoying as possible. Her singing on Vespertine is the least cringy, i'd say. there are a couple moments in 'undo' towards the end - the first one when she sings 'if you're crying darling' and the other at the very end when she sings 'unravel'. gets me every time. so beautiful
