I don't have bulleted points or a thorough analysis, it just isn't. That respectable?

"1. lean has never had a voice or lyrics with a lot of dimension"

this isn't rly an issue for me at all.

but toad i'm confused as to why you didn't have this problem on warlord? is it just because the warlord prod concealed / distracted more from his unidimensional voice//lyrics or what?

oh i don't think it concealed or obfuscated anything. i'm just trying to figure out why he likes warlord and not this given the nature of his critique

yeah i thought that the messy, overblown production added an edge that contrasted really nicely with lean's delivery, similar to how the massive icy soundscapes contrast bladee's vox on eversince

obviously most people seem to disagree, and i can see why

smooth autotune alt r&b/cloudrap. yeah the vibe is different, i agree (much brighter/more triumphant) but its in a similar vein

oliver def has a more buoyant approach. his stuff can be pretty sullen sometimes too but a lot of the production he uses is brighter and shittt

should still check it out
