I wish Assassination was as good from start to finish as this EP

Imo it's hard to compare an EP to an LP. This shit only has 3 songs after all, and it's easier to get 3 good songs in a row than an album full of them. That's always been my thinking.

You're right, it's obviously more difficult to write an album where every track is excellent, however, I'd rather have 3 excellent songs on an EP than 3 excellent songs sandwiched between several decent songs. Most times trying to get a well thought out concept across requires a longer run time to let an atmosphere or idea fully develop, but in this case this EP is very effective for me.
