this is an incredible album. there aren't many bands in this style (or metal in general) that can evolve their sound this much and maintain credibility.
also they're one of the best live bands i've ever seen

I Think "Everybody absolutely adores that track" shouldn't be a reason to dislike something. I think everybody adores that track because its an act of sublimation, therefore it reaches people's hearts and minds  the album is great and this is the culminating point.

Yeah I didnt say that at all. And you really dont have to explain why people might love Amenra. Ive been a fan for over 10 years.
I said its strange because im probably one of the only people who isnt totally in love with that song who like Amenra/This record. And Amenra are probably the most important band in my life. I dont dislike it.I actually quite like it. It just feels like the central point of the album for most and what most people bring up and its definitely not for me.

I think that's the most immediate track because of that melodic riff that repeats itself through the whole song. I also noticed Amenra closes their shows with that song now (edit: actually I was wrong, they only played it for that one longer show in Belgium which was streamed recently). but yea, this whole thing is pretty constant in its quality, all the songs are great.

Im hoping that doesnt stick. They closed the release show with it but finishing with 'Silver needle,golden nail' is far better. Its that bludgeoning at the end of the set then it just ends. Its perfect. Ive seen people in absolute pieces after that.
