so the old fucks of sput are saying this sounds exactly like her first album and is too vocal centric and homogenous basically (i know, i know) but it got me thinking about how crazy diverse this album is again each song reminds me of a different part of her career.

yeah weirdly i didn't like the single that much when it first dropped either. i think it sounds much better in context

So my problem with this is the instrumental seems to separate two different beasts - there’s a 3/5 mini album before it and a 4.5/5 EP after it :/

Comparing with Potsy’s notes - seems like I prefer the tracks with Silent Shout / Tomorrow in a Year / Fever Ray debut influences. This would make sense.
