I was also one of the first to order it, I have number 015. I ordered it before they even officially announced the album lol. Im like oh shit, this looks new? I ordered it at like 1 in the morning, I think the official announcement came the next day. I'm guessing it went up on the store late during the night before in preparation for the announcement of the album, and I happened to check it just before going to bed

Revisited the Ash Borer debut today. It's excellent. The sound of the remaster is definitely a huge step up from the Youtube tracks I recall listening to before. Thanks for the recommendation Timezown. All this talk of Diadem makes me want to listen to it again, time to throw it on the turntable.

Glad to see new people are listening and digging the album. Really only time will tell if it's Two Hunters level because that album has such a reputation from years of hype, but I do think this is their best work in years. I don't know if I'd draw many comparisons between Wolves and Burzum, but then again I can't really think of a better answer so I guess we'll stick with that. Maybe Altar of Plagues?

Wolves and Burzum are nothing alike. Theyre much closer to the Weakling/Ash Borer/Fauna/Fell Voices thang but Diadem of 12 Stars pretty much kickstarted the whole cascadian thing so drawing comparisons is kinda pointless.
