I picked this up yesterday. There is no way this album is worthy of a five simply because I feel the vocal delivery is atrocious. Great review by the way.

Maybe to you, but I find it hard to still listen to hear his vocals after 10+ listens so far. All the music on this album is so good though. Concubine is my favourite so far. I love the opening riff on that song.

Read this months Decible magazine (Pig Destroyer on the front cover). They included this album into their Metal Hall of Fame and did a huge story on the album. Pretty interesting stuff.

This band isn't for everyone though Confessed. Don't worry bunit9488, I'm not as impressed as everyone around here either. Give No Heroes a chance. I found that album easier to get into (if you consider that easy to get into hahaha)

hahahahah most metal mags are shit I agree, but you can't sell millions of them if you put elitist bands on the front cover. We are few and far between compared to lets say Avenge Sevenfold's fanbase. It has to sell, right?
