Yeah, i didn’t take into account it was a proxy seller. Fuu. Looks like I may have to take my chances when it releases then, and yeah, it’s unfortunate I can’t find a reasonable price for Adoratio. The two disc edition of Immortalis, on the other hand, I can find on Amazon for around $36 with free shipping. The world’s never fair, I tell ya.
@samwise, I’m laughing so hard at your reply right now.

If you want limited Adoratio the only way to get it is from here, check it every day and hope you get very lucky (or you can wait for the regular edition to get repressed in 2 months): https://www.mercari.com/jp/search/?keyword=sukekiyo+adoratio
The edition of Immortalis with the two CD's and Blu Ray is definitely affordable: https://www.remambo.jp/auction/item/g342869643

Now that I think about it, do you trust both sites?

I've used Remambo many times to bid on auctions and I've had zero problems, so yes I do trust them. However they increased their fees a while ago so use Zenmarket instead, essentially the same but cheaper fees. For Mercari you need a proxy service to buy the items since it's Japan shipping only. I've personally never used Mercari but it's essentially the same as bidding on Yahoo Auctions, exercise the same amount of caution by looking at the seller's ratings.

If you can buy from the site yourself using a Japanese address, use Blackship (I say if since the site try to ban proxy services last year). If not, White Rabbit can buy the item for you from there by request but if there's a great deal on Mercari it will disappear very fast so I hope the former is true.

Been a long time coming...but man, the wait to finally be in the right place of mind to listen to this album was VERY rewarding. Am I wrong to think this is an experimental/avant-garde rock album? Cause I'm getting avant-garde vibes and I LIKE.

That's what the band is usually described as.

Def agree; HIGHLY rewarding under the right circumstances.

It's interesting that Kyo cites David Sylvian as a major influence cause I was definitely feeling David Sylvian vibes on the album...not vocally but in ethos.

There are preorders of this and Infinitum up on CDJapan that aren’t proxy sellers; thinking I might cut my losses, per se and play the waiting game for a limited edition of this while still owning a copy.

Yup, they are releasing normal versions for general stores for this, Anima and Infinitum.

The new Sukekiyo trailer for the music videos...the second one...
This is horrific...but the type of horrific that I'm pissing myself laughing out of hilarity.

WOW... that was... ummm... yeah what the fuck.
But in all seriousness, ive liked what ive heard from these promotion tracks, and have high hopes for this album, even if it wont reach the near-perfection of this album. I cant really judge an album based solely on the promotional singles, I need to hear it as a whole before I can come to any conclusions. Same goes for that new Shiina Ringo album, while the singles are a bit disappointing, I might enjoy them in the final release when they are in sequential order

But I didn't like those singles :/

The promo for the 2nd single is pantheon tier fail, hahahaha. IDK what to think about it musically, but at least I find it intriguing than anything off TIW.

It almost sounds like it could have been on TIW tbh. It’s alright, not great. I thought the demo they put out like a month prior was a better attempt at a heavier sound.

I didn't like that either, unfortunately. Now I'm glad I did not pre-order.
