"and I just think it sucks that the review people are gonna see for this re-issue on sputnik is so negative when this wasn't a negtive or pretentious release at all"

what about 3.6 implies this is a negative review to you? I'm not gonna pretend this is a perfect album when I don't believe it is, for the sake of trying to preserve its already gold-plated reputation among the music community. otherwise no review would ever be slightly critical of anything, like ever?

amused at the 100 metacritic score despite this outlier rating. guess they decided sputnik shouldn't be weighted in the calculation

Was listening to The Beatles's White Album yesterday and "Sexy Sadie" gave me mad Karma Police vibes.

They were probably going to weigh it in but stopped when they got to the line 'Ok Computer' is a tricky one'

The most critically popular album of all time is a 'tricky one'? Safe to say that's a highly highly personal n' subjective take ;D

No I'm sure it was weighted it's just that Metacritic's weighting system makes no sense

Rotten Tomatoes system makes sense I just don't think it's the best way to represent scores.

Either Metacriric has changed their weighting system or critics have gotten more lenient over time because Metascores are a lot higher in general than they used to be.

Well the bog standard album still rules anyway, even Paranoid Android which I've heard a million times sounded fresh for some reason. The wait did me good!

A rating below 5 for this masterpiece should be illegal and should be punished with life imprisonment
