I'm not gonna pretend this is a perfect album when I don't believe it is, for the sake of trying to preserve its already gold-plated reputation among the music community. otherwise no review would ever be slightly critical of anything, like ever?

Either Metacriric has changed their weighting system or critics have gotten more lenient over time because Metascores are a lot higher in general than they used to be.
