I never payed too much attention to "In Between" when "Minutes to Midnight" was released. Its a bit repetitious, but its nowhere near the repetition of songs exampled in "Human" by Three Days Grace.

"In Between" isn't a bad song, it's just not the best song. In my opinion, it doesn't stand out. It doesn't impact me as much as the other tracks. Its not like "No More Sorrow" where the pounding riff assaults your eardrums, "Given Up" with a near 30-second scream, or "Leave Out All the Rest" with lyrics that drag you down a few levels. "In Between" has some stiff competition to say the least.
