I wish this had more songs like Black Lodge on it. Probably would've been more reviled on release but Black Lodge might be their best track.

these lyrics are kinda bad

Black Lodge is a mix between Twin Peaks, Alice In Chains, and Agalloch

definitely not anthrax but at least interesting for a "sellout album". i actually like the grunge influence here, works complimenting the heavy riffs. actually wish they leaned more into that grunge sound because only and black lodge are the best here by a bit. still a fairly heavy album, more than i thought at least. potters field and room for one more go pretty hard. i like bush he has a nice grit to his voice but gets a little yarly for me, hy pro glo is horrendous.

way too long like a lot of anthrax but half of this is really great. very strong start. only is awesome, such a good hook. i see why it was a hit. the thrashier songs just don't really work with bush for me. last half falls off a bit but 1000 points of hate is sweet, another nice hook. i enjoy the mix of genres here, a pretty unique sound of grunge/groove/alternative metal and hints of thrash. wish it fully came together but a worthwhile experiment. cool for what it is.

black lodge is such a cool tune. been stuck in my head lately.
