gotta love hyperbole - MIW put on one of the best live shows i've been to (genuinely probably the first time I ever had to hold back crying at a show in a long time) and their last two albums are filled with jammers

as for asking, apart from like a house on fire (poopoo production) i kinda like their hard rock era more but i dig stand up and scream's goofy shit at times

Emim, that makes me wonder how much you've heard that you haven't rated if you consider songs like Eternally Yours and Another Life (two songs that when they performed them live, i was nearly crying but somehow kept myself together) among the likes of... Lil Wayne's Rebirth (which is probably like a 1.5 to me because it has a couple songs I sort of like) and Five Finger Death Punch.

Then again, Color Decay, Heavener, and NIRATIAS (??????) being down there is hilariously on-brand for someone with such strong takes on MIW.

MIW is not that great lmao it’s pretty generic stuff mixed with the emo attire schtick that should have died in 2005

lol their attire choices are great still to this day. of all things to get on their case for that is certainly one of them

I mean I could just mention the song Dead as Fuck if you’d prefer, or use this look as an example of my point: https://fullmetaljackieradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/17546655_1562018610505196_4299641637189006496_o.jpg

Also Chris Motionless’ cleans are terrible, Three Says Grace level over enunciation. Makes sense that you’d croon over them considering your admiration of Sleep Token.

Beats being a generic looking bearded metal dude for me tbh. it has more personality to it. although 2010-2013 Oli Sykes is probably where i like it most. https://townsquare.media/site/366/files/2020/11/GettyImages-127795025.jpg

Also comparing Chris to Adam Gontier is a damn compliment if I've ever heard one. Early 3DG (first three albums) is wonderful. If you mean Walst, he's so generic and unemotive that that sounds like you're trying to find a off-the-wall comparison.

I would unironically rather listen to ffdp's first album than miw

Another life is the most buttcore song ever written

there is a stark difference between the image of Oli you showed vs having fucking glued on studs and isolated long sideburns that look so bad - the personality to that is one of embarrassment

i typically dont fault peoples appearance like that but jeez what was he thinking
