The A-Side is great but the jump in quality when I flip the record always astounds me every time. If The Microphones have the best opening-3-run this one must be a strong contender for mightiest closing 3

I get Student Demonstration Time more fits the socially conscious theme they were going for but it’s a shame Big Dur didn’t make the cut instead. The version on Feel Flows is crazy good, destroys the one on Holland. Mike fucking Love, who would have thought??

The arrangement is really nice, I’m just not huge on the 3/4 more than anything. Admittedly need to spend more time with Holland as a whole so I’m sure it’ll grow on me.
