Bruce finds it weird that people like his songs on here, especially Deidre. It's a shame he's more or less reduced himself to "the guy who wrote Disney Girls and I Write the Songs" because he proved himself to be more than capable of holding his own as a writer.

this is the only beach boys tracklist where i dont make any changes to it since i think the sequence is one of its strongest attributes and even subbing in better tracks from this time period dont fit as well, but given the wealth of material from these sessions i made a whole other tracklist out of everything i really fuck with from the feel flows box that didn't make the cut lol. such a phenomenal period for the band

It's so pure and joyful. Always liked this album but lately it's completely clicked for me, been listening to it a ton. All I Wanna Do til the end is easily one of their best runs.
