I really enjoy the sound of this album which lets me ignore its threats to collapse under the weight of its own cheese. May bump it down in the future but its such a pleasant listen.

the song structures are kinda basic, at least for the genre. they're still done well and the whole thing is an enjoyable listen, but a little bit of experimentation would be nice, too often it feels too safe. it's not like it's a flaw of the album, it's just that I think riffs, melodies and rhythm section are all so wonderful that I'd really like to see them get more adventurous with their songwriting.
