6 Blood
5 DU
4 AOD
3 BS
2 CL Deluxe (CL on its own is still above DU)
1 STS duh

I miss Davey's pre-Crash Love range ):
And The Interview is fucking awful.

It goes AoD > StS > BS > AtaSF > VPoY > Burials > Blood > DU > CL > SYMaOYE
First three are a toss up though because they're all so great.

Oh well. I thought more people would dig this over Burials.

This will probably be the first full AFI album I listen to and also the first album of 2017 I listen to
Lot to live up to for an album with a 3.4 average

What's wrong with you people? Why aren't you arbitrarily giving this album a numerical value that validates MY opinion! Useless, the lot of you!

I really hate the placement of White Offerings. Feed From The Floor to the end would have been a stellar core to conclude this.

Shadow I'm really happy that someone shares the same opinion as me on Snow Cats. I love the song, but I cringe at how flamboyant Davey sounds in the verses

Middling & inconsistent, but still highly enjoyable. About all I expect from these guys in 2017.

Yeah, it's a shame because it is definitely a good song. The first time I heard the preview, I was in awe. I wish it did a bit more though.

And damn they played Lost Souls, Prayer Position, This Celluloid Dream, Coin Return, and Morningstar tonight. I would have loved to be there.

Davey's delivery in the verses of Still a Stranger is awesome. Wish there was more of that and less of Snow Cats

Pink Eyes and Still a Stranger are both incredible
I re-rodered the tracklist as follows and it's a solid 3.5 for me this way:
1. Snow Cats
2. Pink Eyes
3. Still a Stranger
4. Hidden Knives
5. Get Hurt
6. Above the Bridge
7. Feed from the Floor
8. Aurelia
9. So Beneath You
10. White Offerings
11. She Speaks the Language
12. The Wind that Carries Me Away
Left Dark Snow and Dumb Kids off the playlist because neither do anything for me

Really expected to enjoy this more than I do. Some bright spots, but goddamn can this get dull. It's got both the unevenness of DU and the lack of memorability that plagued CL. This is still an AFI album through and through, so I don't outwardly dislike it or anything, but I can't really see myself revisiting it often. Definitely need to give it a few more listens, though.
Regardless, huge letdown after Burials, which I immediately loved.

I really like Dumb Kids, its like another Wild which is normally a highlight on Burials. And Dark Snow is easily one of the best songs here and one of the coolest songs this band has ever written. Not very immediate though
