well thing is even if he nails the execution i don't like his overall sound, possibly on account of being subject to listen thousands of times at work over the years

ye no secret i prefer abrasive/experimental music but dismissing someone coz of their pie chart is stupid af, there is some radio pop i dig but its few and far between.
I came in pretty harsh - this isn't shite it's harmless upbeat albeit fairly disposable stuff but some of these ratings threw me

I'm a big fan of pop music myself and this album was one of the only good pop albums from last year that was trying to have fun. The rest of the Billboard was just nothing but shitty "dark" sounding songs or just generally depressing and try hard stuff week after week on end. Made worse by the fact that Chainsmoker's Closer wouldn't leave the top 10. And then this album just shows up being cheesy and dorky and over the top and it works really well and its straight up the first pop album you could actually jam because it isn't depressing and it isn't shit.

Also sorry about the pie chart call out, lmao.
