She really has a special singing style and her melodies are god tier. I may like the production on this one better.

for sure! i listened through it once and i think i thought it sounded too poppy or something? another go at it and i'm sure it'll settle. personally, man, i've been looping the slideshow effect LP by memoryhouse, for like the past 4 days, i mean it's 3:30 am and i'm awake just so i can keep listening to it, fuck i love this album

had to bump this down. after the initial awe of the first couple listens wore off i realized the songs bleed together a bit too much. Some Heavy Ocean felt more dynamic stylistically and in the moods that are conveyed. still love this though.

Aaaaawww. I jammed the 2 of them last night and realized that Heavy Ocean is a better album but I enjoy this one more, these songs click with me somehow.

What is it that didn't click with you Art?

well, technically there aren't many flaws on here but it just isn't quite as haunting as i hoped it to be (judging from the album cover and title)

The cover doesn't do it justice tbh. The album is really solid, not too long, and I think the melodies especially are insanely good. I also dig a lot the overall instrumentation, fairly simple and raw.
But I am not trying to convince you Art, not at all, lol
