Never before have I seen someone so oblivious to the concept of constructive criticism. I've read the entire thread, and these guys are great writers giving you great advice; you'd be wise to take it to heart.

Also, whether or not you agree with their criticisms, acting like an entitled prick isn't going to make anyone warm up to you or your writing. Grow up.

See? This is exactly the problem your displaying here. Youre an individual who hides behind insecurities and is so afraid of adapting or changing to better yourself or conform in a more comfortable level that you hone in and target on very little aspects of other people's arguments or MAKE THEM UP COMPLETELY (you guys hate this review because you hate chevelle, for example) and then continue to bring that issue up and attack it until you opponent submits or stops caring.

You cant take criticism, advice, or simple help regardless of how nicely or rudely it is being presented. This reflects that you are a person who will never be able to get their work done in social envrioment on a strong level because you refuse to ever adapt from what you think is good to a possibly "objective" standard of what is good. This is all inference and i may be wrong, but it PAINFULLY shows.

You're not reacting like an average, logical human being. You're reacting like someone who feels something personal of theirs has been attacked, when people are merely trying to help you become a better writer and view things from a more objective standpoint.

Oh i used to get into fights all the time on here over things i KNEW I was right about, but really wasnt. but i also knew to take advice and criticism and adapt it to my own special style that I am now comfortable with calling "good". Ive been on this site for three years now, and ive written well over 35 reviews and I would only say maybe 8 of them are actually good. but those ones I call good are a product of me takign advice and adapting it to my own comfortable level of reviewing and style. its not an insane concept and your nickleback review proves you CAN write decent/good stuff.

I would recommend evacuating this thread ASAP; it's pretty clear that nothing worthwhile is going to come of this. If he wants to believe he's above all criticism then that's his right. No reason to waste your time on someone who doesn't deserve it.

What I'd really like to know is why you didn't blow up at me on the very first page of this thread for calling this fanboyish but did as soon as somebody neg'd your review.

If this angst was really all about the fanboy complaints, that would be one thing.

But all those comments about how you don't care how people react to it are bullshit; you only started getting defensive when one person took you down a peg statistically.
