Oh yeah, I’m specifically referring to everything after ILaD. Those first two albums are untouchable.

they’ve got moments lies for the liars yielded a lot of insanely sick bonus tracks that made me baffled by the albums final tracklist could’ve been their second best if all but the opening three songs were replaced by its like 8 bonus tracks. artwork and the canyon are cool rest is pretty horrid

the canyon, albeit too long and horrendously produced, hella surprised me ngl it’s got some super potent highs. upper falls and mouth of the canyon are outstanding

I can’t speak to The Canyon, as Imaginary Enemy was so bad that I didn’t even bother to listen to anything after that. I saw how long it was and was just like “fuck that.” I may check those tracks though.

the canyon is worth listening to once or so it’s a different beast than maybe anything else they’ve done and while it has problems they’re way less detrimental than the ones before it. production is bad but it’s just muddy and underproduced, which is fine compared to the synthetic feldman production of imaginary enemy. some sick guitar passages too thanks to justin shekoski being insanely dope. it’s definitely leagues above their other output this decade

I'm baffled as to how the average is so low for this.

Racing Toward a Red Light bangs so hard.

aside from a few highlights, this album is...good. Green sounds amazing as always, and the drumming is definitely something to take note of. The songs themselves just aren't anything too special.

Huh, I haven't listened to this since it released until now. The Silver String is still the best song on here and this album just makes me want to listen to Circa Survive
