lol, so true.
EDIT: Reminds me of when Oasis stated they were the best band in the world and was better than the beatles. Maybe Tom wants to show the same attitude that clearly works for Oasis? This Message Edited On 06.19.06

I'll be frank.

Being a huge B182 fan i was expecting it to be a good album, the line up sounded good, tom was hyping it up, and the adventure was a cool song.

Saying theres about 3 tracks i like on this album, the missle on, it hurts and the adventure. I relay do not like the rest.

I dont like the wierd sounding stuff they put on songs like "do it for me now" and "Distraction" it makes it sound to over produced and crappy tbh.

I dunno, i just dont like it.

Good review. I agree this album was overhyped, but I love this album, though it took a while to grow on me. Something I think deserves another mention are the lyrics. I think this album really demonstrates how well Tom can write, and kudos for putting in a few lines from each song in your review. Box Car was a massive improvement lyrically for Tom from his Blink writing, and I feel this album blows even them out of the water.

wherever you stand on Angels and Airwaves, it is funny to see that the same guy who wrote "Ben Wah Balls" is now trying to make people cry.

Oh come on, all the songs sound exactly the same. I can not fathom giving this anything higher than a 2.5. Tom's voice/lyrics are horrible and the music is a rip-off of every post-punk band in exsistence.

yeh I agree with something vague - TD thinks alot of "ooooh"ing is sensitive and deep as well... like a long bass note fills the song with suspense! This Message Edited On 07.16.06

I personally hate Tom and all of Blink 182, one of the most annoying bands around. Well, they're not a band anymore so I guess it doesn't matter. The best rock album anyone will hear my ass! This band drives me insane! For one thing the songs drag on forever when they're ending, the few I've heard anyway. I just hate the music and the vocals. Sorry but I can't say this is a good band. Who knows maybe I would like this band a little better if Tom wasn't the singer and the songs were shorter and/or didn't just repeat the same lyrics over and over.

Don't rate the album if you haven't heard the whole thing.
