Mildly disappointed by this. Probably won't ever listen to it again.

Definitely a polarizing one. Somehow I've spun it 10+ times and not gotten bored, and just about everything would bore me after so many repeated listens in such a short time span.

that's pretty intense because this bores the shit out of me and I really wanted to like it

I know that feeling. I guess I lucked out this time and wasn't disappointed after massive hype.

Damn I'm actually kind of enjoying this after hating their first two albums, idk what's going on.... Probably won't be more than a 3 or 3.5 at the highest, but still.

It grows on you man! And oddly enough, The Flesh Prevails only began growing on me hardcore after I heard the first few singles off of this. Something clicked. Love both now, but this is superior for me.

hes a really powerful vocalist but that roar gets really monotonous at times, i like him in the void alone though

can't be mildly disappointed and only listen to this once doesn't work like that

Nothing has reached their Nomadic EP yet, and this is no exception. Not too shabby, but nothing particularly special. I'm probably in the 2.7-3.1 range depending on mood

Thank God the production isn't as ass on this one
Out of the tracks I've heard I think I might like this more than TFP

'can't be mildly disappointed and only listen to this once doesn't work like that'
I have probably heard it 4 or 5 times and it just gets less interesting with every spin, which is the exact opposite of what I've seen a few people comment. I don't think it sucks, but I don't even know how to rate it.

Damn I had hope for this at first, jammed it a few more times and it got worse. This one still isn't anywhere near as bad as the previous 2 though I'll give it that.

After about 10 listens or so, this just is nowhere near as inspired as TFP. As much as TFP had production issues, the music itself was dense in a way that felt powerful and significant. Here, ideas are stretched too thin and lack the "all-consuming" nature of Fallujah's previous sound. Furthermore, TFP as a whole had a much more coherent structure, so much so that whenever I want to hear "Sapphire" I feel compelled to start from "Alone With You" and let the album play out. Definitely agree that this is a major letdown after the band was primed for a major breakthrough.

album is nice, lived up to the hype for me, don't know why you are all so judgmental, people.

For 2-3 songs I love their sound. And then like all modern tech death it feels too samey and compressed to enjoy the whole record.
