I remember this coming out. I had Sowing The Seeds of Love on a Now Compilation that also had Belinda Carlisle on it who was me first ever celebrity crush.

woman in chains best song ever? Prob

Gotta give these guys a proper listen. New wave has definitely grown on me over the years.

Same here.

Might start with Songs From the Big Chair because Head Over Heels is so killer, but definitely need to dive in. Mullet incoming? We'll see!

You guys are in for a treat. First three are all great indeed, and their newest from a few years ago is better than it has any right to be
I should probably check out more synthpop/new wave type stuff from this era, considering I got very into TFF and Depeche Mode over the past couple years

lying and waiting is a poor man's deal
And I feel
hopelessly weighed down by your eyes of steel

the bonus songs were so epic and them not being officially on the album was a travesty. Tears Roll Down, Always in the Past, and Music for Tables

the first 5 albums are excellent. the 6th one has some of their strongest songs but also some of their weakest. the newest album is also a good listen. this is the type of band where only listening to the "Greatest Hits" is a mistake. they are very consistent. Find the bonus tracks of their songs too.

they are a band with massive singles and yet a surprisingly deep and at times proggy back catalogue
