Honestly 'wank' is like 'pretentious' here, it's some sort of catch-all term everyone loves to use but is often misunderstood and incorrectly attributed to albums.
I'm a big techdeath fan and all I hear is 'wank' ever damn day, just used to dismiss something you don't like.
