Ended up spending $65 CAD on the vinyl package for this... a little expensive, but I think it'll be worth it. This album is extremely consistent from what I can tell upon my first listen.

This is fucking great.
Usually I just let Hammock play while I sleep or study, but this one demands fuller attention.
Great review. I love the references to The Cure. That's exactly what I was thinking when I heard some of these songs.

It only took me halfway through the second song, Clarity, to become hooked. God one of the greatest feelings in the world is stumbling upon a new band you really enjoy.

"My favs by far are Glassy Blue and We Could Have Been Beautiful Again"
Glassy Blue's chords in the intro are the most calming shit in the world. Reminds me of an old Matt Good Band song a little bit, to be honest. But in a very good way.
"i strongly disagree on that, the vibes i get from their music are so amazing i never even want the albums to end"
Agreed; this is one of those uncommon occurrences where the album is so consistent front to back that I'm not skipping to specific songs to maintain a vibe. The whole album shares the same vibe and doesn't feel like it wears out its welcome whatsoever.

I agree that their albums can be too long but this one seems to fly by in an instant.
