This was said on another forum too: for all those so anxious to say their opinions (aka is it better than their past releases etc...) I have a dose for you: Slow down. Give it some time to sink in. The album is incredibly dense with ideas. You don't need to burn through music so fast and shit out opinions. Its obscene and frankly amazing. Actually really depressing...Sit, chew 20 times, swallow and sit some more. We spend an agonizing amount of time putting this music together. Show a little respect and slow the fuck down and listen to less music.

@hob while that is true, its kind of funny that you think you can tell people when they should express their thoughts on an album. I think Howls of Ebb is an awesome project and im sure a lot of work and thought was put into this, but one thing youll never be able to control is what people do or say with your music. As an artist, you should know that by now. Once you release it into the world, its out of your hands and theres nothing you can do about it. Idk what youre complaining about anyways, it has a 4.2 average.
All that being said, i dont mean to sound like a dick but thats what i think. its always cool to see artists posting and getting involved. I cant wait to hear this.

I think people are just reacting to the presumptuousness of that post. I mean I've had the promo of this for over a month now, I've heard it well over a dozen times and my position is unchanged. If I haven't afforded an album time to be absorbed then I don't rate it and I'm going to assume that's the modus operandi of most people here as well.
