Probably not. I think at this point, their schedule seems to be on autopilot and I think it shows with a lack of any outstanding creativity, musically and lyrically

Well when my dad got us the tickets he didn't know they'd be playing only this. Never listened to this so should be an interesting show

Dropping my rating to 3. Musical proficiency is there but I just can't get into it, which is upsetting because I always have high hopes for DT. Maybe it's just rose-tinted glasses.

So this was a pretty amazing show!! Maybe I'll give this a listen tomorrow, but it certainly helps that I saw it played from top to bottom live. Have a new appreciation for it now. Nonetheless they put on a fantastic show I enjoyed myself.

No it was only this album, but the whole production they put on was top notch. I mean it was Radio City so of course everything sounded incredible.

Also, of course I was worried xD Never really wanted to listen to this and originally didn't know the concert would only be this when we got the tickets. It all worked out ok though.

This has plenty of cool moments that'd translate great live I'm sure. You should jam this now to see how it compares.

There's always some great stuff to a Dream Theater release, even in the past decade. There's just a lot of mediocre material to deal with as well, but most of the nonsense is easily skippable on repeated listens.

Yea it definitely pays to live close to the city. Madison Square Garden and Radio City both had incredible sounds.

A Life Left Behind is probably my favorite on here, mainly for that fantastic intro. They might've extended it live idk

I don't think they extended anything that much. The show was more or less 130 minutes like the album.

You know, as much as I like this, the one thing I'm pretty sure would've made this a lot better would've been guest vocalists. I think it would've helped break up some of the monotony.

that would've made it even worse
