In its most trivial form, a 0 would be incoherent regurgitated talentless white noise, and a 5 would be a magnum opus masterpiece for the ages. You seem to have an irking/distaste for DT, I'm not a fanboy, mind you, even though Petrucci has been responsible for millions of aspiring guitar player suicides. But music is an art form, a testament to the human condition. As we are sitting here there are people blasting misogynistic, synthetic cannon fodder, bragging about hoes and money, yelling guttural nonsense when you have DT over here trying to give people spiritual ecstasy. Even if it's "regurgitated, no riffs, can't hear the bass, way too long, etc." their work is honest. We should be celebrating that. To each their own though. Good day, Avantasias album seems nice, check that out and try not to butcher it.
