Muzz you're right bro this album is awesome. The problem for me was that it was nestled between a bunch of shitty records so I never gave it a fair chance. Ripper form start to finish. The cover is dope too.

man this RIPS. did not let down at all. i think i might like this more than endgame for the best post 90s megadeth? kiko is amazing, so flashy and fun. very friedman-esque. really interesting tone on here, kind of middle eastern at points. dave is a bit too loud in the mix but otherwise everything really pops nicely. maybe the heaviest megadeth album too? so many heavy ass riffs, fatal illusion m/. daves deeper snarls really work. sounds angry as hell.
first 4 is some of their best stuff ever. especially the title track. felt like hangar 18. some great hooks, love death from within. poisonous shadows one of their most interestingly constructed songs ever. peters out a bit but man great album.
