why did nobody tell me there's no Garm on this?

purely instrumental music mostly bores the shit out of me.

Listening to this for the first time right now.

Glammer Hammer is really good. Not sure if I prefer it over the original version (Glamour Box) but this version certainly hits hard.

So far I can't help but think I would prefer this slightly if it leant a bit heavier on the electronic side but I guess these are remakes of mostly electronic based songs so it's interesting to hear some 'rock' instrumentation added to the mix.

If anyone has yet to hear it, their label mates Kitchie Kitchie Ki Me O just put out a new album and it's very good.

The Om Hanumate Namah-D-Day Drone stretch is impeccable.

Are any of these songs new, or are they all older tracks? I've not heard most of the Ulver EPs.

About 1/3 of these songs have been heard before in some form or another, including Ecclesiastes which is a cover of Pete Seeger's Turn, Turn Turn.

They could've fooled me, I haven't heard their EPs or Messe a ton so I don't recognize any of these besides Nowhere/Catastrophe. Only Doom Sticks, cause they said so on release.

Agreed about Glammer Hammer.

The original was incredible enough, but the added instrumentation and live atmosphere make it even more intense.

Got into this more and more as it went on. I actually really liked this album's version of Nowhere/Catastrophe.

Vocals on this (just "Nowhere") sound like Coffins on Io

Yeah, I'm not understanding the backlash to it.
