Heard the sad news the other day, it was the first thing me and my friends talked about the morning after. Cool to see this featured, would pos too, very heartfelt review. It's pretty shocking to open Wikipedia and read "were an English rock band".
Guess I'll keep this avatar for a while, love this photo so much. My idols have to stop dying, 2015 has been terrible under that aspect. : (

Not only it's sad to read but it's almost surreal. After the incident when he stopped the show but they managed to continue the tour, I thought with a little rest they'd be back on the studio in no time.

They wanted to, a new album would have been done in max two years. I wrote it in a thread too, shame it's not true anymore.

All great things eventually end.
At least Motorhead were TRUE from day one till the end.

so true, the truest band ever

Yeah that footage of him having to walk off the stage was definitely the beginning of the end. I couldn't even bring myself to finish watching it, Lemmy was being Lemmy and doggedly carrying on but I think deep down we all knew the end was near.

I know everyone hates Lars Ulrich on here, but he wrote an extremely touching tribute to Lemmy on Rollingstone.com. Its worth checking out.
