The music isnt even that good tho. Theyve done much better. Then again ive always found a large swath of the norgwegian bm scene of the 90's generally overhyped and uninteresting to begin with.

Only bands i really dig from that era and locale are dissection and emperor, and even at that, they are by no means the best bm ive heard. For me a lot of 'em just come across as cheesy, angsty and otherwise petty acts of half assed musical rebellion.
