Sorry man, but I was offline for some days. Some problems with my PC, but now it's all ok.

About my username, the explanation for using it is really very simple. It's simply my employee number in the company where I work. I work in the electricity company of my country, the "EDP" (Electricity of Portugal), and "e" means electricity (the company has other type of energy sources such as gas), "013" is my personal number and "210" represents the department, the local and the date that I was admitted in it.

As you can see, "210013" is a little bit strange for a username, I admit that. Initially, my idea to chose this username, besides be very simple and unforgettable to me, was because it's a neutral name. And as Sputnik is a generalist music site and not specific in only a genre, and I also like different kinds of music, I thought that it was a good option. Now, I think that it was probably a silly decision. Anyway, the things are what they are and here they are.

By the other hand, I can also explain, right now, my option of using the avatar of Bowie. It was chosen in the same train of thought, which was that Sputnik is a generalist music site. As you know, despite I like of different types of music, I'm essentially a prog head, as you are. So, as you also know, Bowie isn't properly a true prog artist. However, I always loved his music and I always had a great respect by him. Why? Because, besides the great quality of his music, the man never was afraid of experimenting practically all of genres of music and I really think always with a great success. He is really a great chameleon as he is named in general. He always managed to be ahead of many of other artists and always with a a very good level of quality in all he made, even as a cinemactor. I remember right now a movie I saw many years ago, among some others, Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, of which I liked very much. So, in a certain way, Bowie incarnates the truly spirit of the prog music and always was very respected in that genre, as you know.

I chose this cover of the album and not the other one, because I like more of it and also because it's the cover of my vinyl copy, which is one of my first albums.

I hope that I had satisfied your curiosity and the curiosity of some other members of Sputnik, dude.

Cheers.

Ah, the mystery is now resolved. Your username is ok with me. It's just that there are too many numbers to memorize it. That's why most of the users are naming you e21. I also know that you can change your username with the help of the mods if you want it.

As for Bowie, Aladdin Sane is a good choice to represent him. I love ''Panic in Detroit'' and ''The Jean Genie'', but there are a lot more to enjoy apparently. And yes Bowie is a versatile composer, and he can flirt with prog in many occasions. Without being purely a progger, it shows that he's somewhat influenced by prog in songs such as ''Station to Station'', ''We are the Dead'', ''Warswaza'', ''Space Oddity'',''Cygnet Committee'', ''Life on Mars''...to name a few. Some other songs are only slightly infused with prog, and that's the main reason we dig his music after all ;)

Merry Christmas e21, and all the best for you in 2016.

Yeah, the "great enigma" was broken and discovered. I really don't know if I want change my username now. You know, I'm used to it now and I think that in general the other users begin to be familiarized with it, too. By the other hand, if I change my username, probably will seems to me that I lost, in a certain way, my identity here on Sputnik. Anyway, if I don't change it, people can continue to say, "Hey, here is the guy whose name is a number”. Ah!; Ah!; Ah!. Very fun. Very fun indeed.

About Bowie, my favorite álbums of him are The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust..., Löw, The Man Who Sold The World, soon followed by Hunky Dory, Station To Station, Heroes, Aladdin Sane and Space Oddity. Anyway, almost of his albums until Let's Dance are great. My favorite songs are several. In this moment came to my mind "Space Oddity", "The Man Who Sold The World", "Life On Mars?", "Starman", "Ziggy Stardust", "Station To Station", "Warszawa" "Art Decade" and "Heroes", only to mention a few of them.

Merry Christmas to you too Jethro and a better 2016. And if you don't mind, now I will wish you Merry Christmas in our mother languages.

Joyeux Noël à vous aussi, Jethro et une meilleure 2016.

Feliz Natal para você também, Jethro e um melhor 2016.

Cheers.

Thanks guys for your support. I really appreciate that. After more than thirty years have passed since my admittance in that company of electricity, as you can guess good and bad things have passed. It's almost like a life passed working in it. For better or for worst I'll always be linked with it.

So, once more my sincere thanks for your support and understandability. Jethro was right when we told to me, in my first day on Sputnik: "don't be afraid, Sputnik is a nice music site, and it's composed with cool people."

About your username SirLord, sincerely, I always liked it. Lol.

Once more thanks and merry Christmas to all of you and a better 2016.

Yes, it's the same company. It's a 100% private company now. However, its privatization began many years before this. This phase of privatization was only a slice of the company. Something between 20% and 30%, which was the last part in the hands of the state.

Are the bills more expensive in comparison with the era that the company belonged to the public?

I am Greek, that's why I am asking this kind of things.

They want to sell Greek electricity company too.

Not sell, give for free to be more precise.
