It's not as good as Depression Cherry but I'd still say I like it more than their debut or Devotion. Compared to Bloom, Teen Dream or Depression Cherry it pales, but songs like Eulogy to the Void, Majorette, One Thing, Common Girl & Rough Song it's still great.

The Traveller and Elegy to the Void I prefer to anything off Depression Cherry, and the last song is ok too, but overall this is weaker than that album...and I only rate that one a 3/5. They had enough material this year to make a solid 4/5 follow up to Bloom but this double release thing didn't work for me

Depression Cherry is probably my third favorite from them after Bloom and Teen Dream, TYLS is lower. Song-wise I think the quality is there, production-wise it just doesn't sound as full as those other albums.

The closer is so gorgeous and one of my favorites by Beach House... But yeah the album as a whole pales in comparison to Teen Dream, Bloom, & Depression Cherry
Then again every one of their albums before this kinda got me on first listen, I find myself appreciating Lucky Stars more and more each listen.
